Brad Price paints out of an intense love for the natural world. Although he has lived in Costa Rica, Colombia, South America and the US he shows a particular love for the Southwestern US. Brad has been a graphic designer, illustrator and painter for over 34 years yet only recently has pursued serious gallery affiliations.
Currently, the landscape is his central focus. The light in New Mexico has a quality all its own, Brad tries to capture its effects. His style is expressionistic and emphasizes contrasts of light and shade as well as bold color. He attributes much of his development as a painter to the study and admiration of great artists of the past such as Derain, Van Gogh, and New Mexico's early masters.á Contemporary artists having equally important influence include Robert Daughters and William Hook.
